Anne is an Indian chef and author. Born in Guntur and raised in Hyderabd, India she is now based in the USA. Through her work in food she creates and shares traditional Indian dishes with exciting flavours and ingredients that are reflective of her upbringing and heritage. Her approach to cooking is simple and enticing with the use of earthy spices, fresh herbs & blends that are synonymous with India, based around dishes that are accessible and recipes are cooked from communities across India; many of which have been part of her own family for generations.
Anne Jangams’s career in Indian food, spanning over a decade has stemmed from her love for authentic flavours, techniques of cooking and being able to share a fresh perspective on the cuisine.

The Red Mirchi is inspired by the fine taste for Indian food by connoisseurs and serial entrepreneurs Naveen and Anne.
Our story is that of an Indian home cooking and serving delicacies all through the day and every day! Our passion for all that is authentic and delectable has encouraged us with our endeavor to give the best Indian food in Colorado Springs to anyone that wishes to savor it. We hold dear to our hearts long-drawn food traditions and wish to pass it on to the contemporary and younger generations with the vibrance that it accompanies. Bringing a piece of the native Indian land alive through food ambience and hospitality is our mission.
